What is Alchemic Storytelling? It is the blending of disparate elements into one story–genre blending, bending, sometimes defying. It’s respecting the materials you’re working with while not being bound by them. It is, if done right, almost magic, and it’s what I’ve been working on developing in my craft for decades now.

I come from the depths of 1980s fantasy and science fiction and the bosom of bodice-rippers, and what I love more than anything is a sense of wonder and whimsy and a world that feels lived-in. My stories are driven by characters, and the characters are shaped by their worlds and their relationships with each other–platonic, romantic, sexual.

I write various pairing and heat levels but will always try to be clear about what to expect. I hope you can find a story with a blend of ingredients that surprises and delights you on these shelves, and that you will keep exploring.
